Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet - Minneapolis, MN

Loopet Loppet has been renamed to Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet, honoring Dakota people, land, and traditions along Bassett Creek. Participants can choose between long-duration events where they can run or walk multiple loops solo or in teams. Kids can join the fun with a walking, running, or romping event, while adults participate in a untimed fun run or walk. At the Trailhead, an Indigenous People’s festival will feature Native vendors, chefs, artists, storytellers, and community partners, celebrating Dakota traditions through education, crafts, and games for all attendees.
