All timing chips purchased prior to 2021 are DEAD. You need to buy a new one or rent. All racers need a timing chip and can use their own if it is the same system as that used by the Dallas area weeknight crits, local cross races, etc. and purchased since 2021 otherwise you will need to buy one for $80 or rent one at a rate of $5 per day.
