About the event
It's a classic ~ pretty much "The Original Vermont Gravel Grinder" ~ and among the best one-day bike tour routes in New England! Mountain vistas backdrop farmers haying in the field, while you pedal past white-steepled churches, historic barns, waterfalls, and lakes in this Central Vermont Cycling Tour. The scenery is unbroken and you're free to concentrate on the beauty because it is a supported ride with convenient food stops and well-marked courses! Plus, enjoy a celebratory lunch and a delicious Morse Farm Maple Creemee included with every registration (you've earned it!).
Onion River Outdoors is excited to take the reins this year and host the annual Central Vermont Cycling Tour - now renamed the Tour de Creemee!
Choose among three levels of ease/difficulty, ranging from the family-friendly short course (quiet roads winding along serene ponds and meandering past quaint country stores) to the challenging long course (59 miles of gravel grinder roads with over 6000 feet of elevation gain) - all courses were designed by Olympic cyclist Pavel Cherkasov.
Early registration is $60 per adult. Starting on June 11, registration is $75 per adult.Kids, and teens, age 18 and under register for FREE!
Start and finish at Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks in East Montpelier, VT with routes running through towns of Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Woodbury, and Worcester.
