About the event
The fourth annual River City Omnium at the Penrose Park Velodrome offers a full olympic style omnium for Category A (1/2/3) B (3/4) and Women / Femme track riders.
Racing will being at NOON on Sunday, June 7th with events alternating between A, B, and W/F categories until the three categories have each finished their four event schedule. The Sprint Tournament will begin a little earlier at 11:30.

A: 30 Laps ~ 9.6km
B: 25 Laps ~ 8km
W/F: 20 Laps ~ 6.4km
Tempo (race scoring one point to lead rider each lap)
A: 20 Laps ~ 6.4km
B: 16 Laps ~ 5.1km
W/F: 16 Laps ~ 5.1km
Elimination
A: Riders eliminated every 2nd lap
B: Riders eliminated every 2nd lap
W/F: Riders eliminated every 2nd lap
Points Race
A: 48 Laps Sprints every 6th Lap ~ 15.5km
B: 30 Laps Sprints every 6th Lap ~ 9.6km
W/F: 24 Laps Sprints every 6th Lap ~ 7.7km
