South Ridge Trail Challenge - 5K, 10K

The South Ridge Trail Challenge is a premier trail race held at North Park in Allegheny County. This event features a choice of scenic tracks through loose dirt, gravel paths, alongside rocky and root-covered single tracks, open to runners and hikers of varied skill levels. Participants have the option to join the "MAX VERT" challenge for those seeking an additional test. The course begins and concludes near the historic North Park swimming pool. This race offers an exploration of early summer’s natural beauty in Western PA, winding through the South Ridge Plateau’s captivating landscapes.
