EVENT CHECK IN 8- 9:45
1) PLEASE drive slowly on the country roads to and from the event. The “way bikers drive” in our community is one of biggest points of contention the local community has with our events. Most of the time it isn't during our events but it still casts a dark shadow over our community and your considerate assistance is greatly appreciated.
2) 1 DROP BAG is permitted - at check in by request
3) Site specific camping is additional this year - SUPER SORRY!!! HERE
4) RV's must be in reserved sites (RESERVATIONS HERE)
5) Day use parking will be in the field near the start below the Observatory.
6) Post event food will be limited to one pass this year - A tasty BBQ is in store for you. Additional plates can be purchased. - please bring a camp chair so you can stay dispersed.
7) We will NOT have a riders meeting nor a volunteer meeting.
8) Age group - Your age during this current calendar year. - it is not based on the actual day of the event age. If you turn 19 at anytime this year you would sign up for the age group above 19. Open Men/Women. Same with U15 and 50 +. If you turn 15 this year you are in the U19 category. If you turn 50 at anytime this year you can race in Masters.
Event Details:
The Stokesville Sixty/Forty highlights some of the finest single track around the Stokesville Lodge/Campground and the George Washington National Forest. The route travels along newly aligned trails made possible by a Recreational Trails Program Grant that was administered by the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition. They have become the George Washington National Forests most sought after trails.

The courses are circa 2023. A tad bit harder - but still a great time. We are not permitted to use Virginia State Roads at this time for any of our events. For that reason we are using these routes. We will have a shuttle from the end of Tillman Rd. back to the Campground for those doing the 40K route. The timing on the 40K ends at the bottom of Tillman West Trail. The shuttle will be waiting down at the end of Tillman Rd. The shuttle will have its' rewards.....
The Stokesville 60K Route - YEP, It's HARDER than 2022 and prior. - same as 2023/24
