Syracuse Mudtastic Classic

Location

The 10th Annual Mudtastic Classic will take place at the WACF Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes & Wetlands Education Center located 1 mile south of Syracuse on SR 13. The address for the center is 11586 SR 13, Syracuse, IN 46567.

Registration

Registration opens on Monday, March 11. Participants will be able to register at the Syracuse Community Center or online at www.runreg.com/mudtasticclassic. Fees are $25 per adult (15 & above) and $25 per child (7-14). A nominal service fee will be charged to those registering online. Participants must register by June 2 to receive a t-shirt; there will be no guarantee of size or availability after this date.

Schedule

9:00AM: Adult Waves Depart

10:00AM: Adult/Youth Waves Depart

11:00AM: Youth Waves Depart

Participants will be notified of their starting time the week of the event. Participants must be checked in a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their assigned wave. The schedule is subject to change based on registration numbers.

Waves/Teams

Youth waves will depart based on age group. Both youth and adults will have the option to participate in teams or as individuals. Each team may consist of a maximum of 10 participants. Each team must designate one participant as a team captain. Teams must have their registration forms submitted together. Team members will be assigned to the same wave.

Course

The event will have a trail approximately 2.25 miles with 15+ obstacles. The courses will have uneven ground, water, mud, climbing and crawling. Participants will have the choice to complete or bypass any obstacle. This is not a race; the objective is to have fun and get dirty!

Awards

A prize will be given to the 3 best dressed groups!

Clean Up

There will be a designated area near the finish line for participants to hose off.

Refreshments

Participants will be able to hydrate at water stations on the course. There will also be post-race refreshments served at the Ruddell Pavilion.

Spectators

A viewing area will be marked off for those wanting to watch the event and support the runners.

Weather Policy

The event will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, however, the run will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 23 with waves beginning at 12:00PM.

Parking

Parking will be available at designated spots near the education center and on WACF property near SR 13.
