The Summer GMU

The Summer Green Man Ultra invites adventurers to partake in a thrilling race experience, with options to conquer either a 45-mile or a 30-mile distance. Both events follow a shared course, feature identical checkpoints, and culminate at the same finish line, despite starting from different points. During the Summer race, participants will navigate the course in a CLOCKWISE direction, offering a unique contrast to the Winter event’s path. Runners who successfully complete both the Winter and Summer 45-mile challenges within the same year can earn a prestigious GMU buckle, awarded in four categories based on their cumulative running time: Sub 15 hours, Sub 18 hours, Sub 21 hours, and Sub 24 hours.
