About the event
Take part in an unparalleled adventure in the Amazon rainforest and beaches of the Rio Negro. The Amazon Ultra Trail provides athletes with an incomparable opportunity to experience the cultures, fauna and flora of the Amazon while challenging themselves with a unique and different jungle race.
Different distances are available to suit all abilities. From 5km to 10km, the courses pass through trails, intertwining relentless competition with safety, entertainment and a deep appreciation of nature. The ever-changing water levels of the Rio Negro make the final routes unpredictable, adding to the excitement of the race.
In addition to the race, participants get to immerse themselves in Amazonian culture with a survival instruction, indigenous cultural presentation and activities with local riverside and indigenous communities. The registration fee for the main races (30km, 50km, 100km, 160km and 160k + prologue 95km) includes round-trip river transfers, meals, overnight stay, and medical support. Those participating in the 13k and 21k courses will receive a race t-shirt, BIB number, time control, biodegradable plastic bag, and personal accident insurance. A finisher’s medal will be presented to all those who complete the course, along with gifts from sponsors and hydration points offering water and ice.
