Half Marathon results
Steve Chu (1:09:41) bested more than 1,500 runners to win the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon along Clear Creek in Colorado.
Runner-up Bob Weiner repeated in second place with a time of 1:12:19.
Frank Therrian (1:15:25) finished less than 30 seconds ahead of Campbell Ilfrey (1:15:53) for third.
Therrian finished sixth a year ago.
For the women, it was Malia Crouse (1:19:26) coming in first.
She was the only runner to finish under an hour and 20 minutes.
Deborah Vanderstoep completed the course in 1:23:36 to secure second.
Sarah Villasenor took third with a time of 1:24:45.
