Axios Running Festival

The Axios Running Festival has emerged as a key event for athletes looking to challenge themselves amidst the stunning natural surroundings of the Axios River area. This festival now boasts all the elements necessary to excel in athletic, cultural, and environmental dimensions.Stavros Anagnostopoulos, Mayor of Chalkidona; Diamantis Diamantis, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Social Welfare; and Andreas Oklaliotis, Deputy Mayor for Sports and Young Generation, are enthusiastic about this exciting new chapter for the Municipality of Chalkidona, which encompasses 18 villages in Central Macedonia.
