Huron River Fest 5K Run / Walk/ Fun Run

Join us for a beautiful summer morning race throughout Huron's Old Plat and Oklahoma neighborhoods starting and ending at the Huron River Pier. There will be one water station on the route approximately at the 1.5 mile marker located at the Huron High School. This traditional annual race will be held during the weekend of Huron's River Festival.  After race awards, you can catch the River Fest parade on Cleveland Rd at 11:00 AM.

START LINE IS AT THE CORNER OF MAIN ST. & WALL ST. - AT THE HURON RIVER PIER, IN FRONT OF THE PIER PUB.

Proudly Brought To You By The 2024 Huron 5K Challenge Series with proceeds going toward Huron's Track & Field and Cross Country scholarship programs.

Event Highlights:

- Runners and Walkers PRE registration entry Fee: $20.00 per participant. All participants registered by 11:59pm on July 9th are guaranteed a race shirt!

- Runners and Walkers Race day registration is $25.00, shirts will be in limited supply and on a first-come / first-serve basis (pre-register and get the shirt!)

- Kids' Fun Run will be held between 9:00 and 9:30. Race Day registration only / $5 per child / will receive a race bib for keepsake.

- Pre-Race packet pick up will be  Friday July 12th 6p-7p outside of Pier Pub 38 Main St, Huron.

- Finisher’s Awards & Prizes: At approximately 9:30 AM we will begin award announcements. Male & Female OVERALL finishers in the runner AND walker categories will be awarded plaques, Medals awarded to the top 3 runners in each 5 year age groups. We will also announce door prizes before awards. Must be present - or have someone designated to receive your prize at the race.

- Snacks and Refreshments will be offered after the run!

- Course: The course will be a 5K loop that starts and finishes in front of the Pier Pub. The fun run will begin after the 5K. Well marked and patrolled for safety.  

- Race proceeds will support Huron Tiger High School Cross Country and Track student-athlete scholarships!

- Online Registration: Available until 11:59pm on July 9, 2023
