Love Thy Neighbor 5k & 10k Race/Walk

Concordia Lutheran Church & Trinity Lutheran Church presents the 8th Annual Love Thy Neighbor 5k & 10k Race/Walk, Breakfast, & Raffle honoring Kassidy Sechler

March 16, 2022 - Rain or Shine!

Race Location - Concordia Lutheran Church, 185 Concordia Church Road, China Grove, NC  28023

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  There is no other commandment greater than this.  Mark 12:31

Schedule of Events:

7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Breakfast (included for all racers/walkers - others by donation)

7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Raffle Bidding Starts

8:00 a.m. - 5k & 10k Races Start

10:00 a.m. - Kids' Fun Run Starts

10:45 a.m. - Awards

11:00 a.m. - Raffle Bidding Closes

We partner with with the Salisbury Rowan Runners to enhance our 5K and 10K races as well as the fun run. All runners will be accurately timed, the course measured and medals will be presented to the top three in each age group. Complete results will be posted at Salisbury Rowan Runners after the race. 

Awards: - Trophies for overall male & female in the 5k and 10k and top 3 age group awards:  12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over. 

Fees:

5k race / walk / t-shirt - $30

10k race / walk / t-shirt - $30

Fun Run - $10

T-shirt only - $20 - At this link - For t-shirt purchase without 5k/10k race (Enter sale code NEIGHBOR – online deadline is Sunday, March 3, 11:59 p.m.)

Breakfast Only - Donation (Breakfast is included for all racers/walkers)

Course Information: - Both races begin and end at Concordia Lutheran Church (185 Concordia Church Road).  The courses are out and back and take you through the rolling countryside of the Atwell Township community.  There are two water stations for the 5k and three for the 10k.
