Nashville Striders Peter Pressman Firecracker 5000 is a fun, holiday event staged at Opry Mills Mall. The flat fast course features a modified double loop around the grounds of Opry Mills adjacent to Opryland Hotel. Common Start/Finish near Entrance 1, site of race morning packet pickup and registration.

Those registering after 6/25 are not guaranteed a race shirt
Annual Event is part of the Nashville Striders 2020-2021 Grand Prix Race Series.
Proceeds benefit Nashville Striders Youth Fund, which provides scholarships for high school seniors and post-high school students (over 15 given out so far) and funds running equipment for youth runners who would not otherwise be able to run. There is an option to make an additional donation when registering or via the "donate" link at the top of the page.
