Ronnie's Run

 *Get Ready For Another Great Race* Ronnie's Run August 26th 2023 :Leftover Addition" Ronnie's Run is in memory of my son Ronnie Scrimo who passed away on December 10th 2014. Ronnie was enrolled at Saint Petersburg College; he earned his A.A. and was one semester away from graduating with his Bachelors of Arts degree. He was a member of Phi Thete Kappa. Ronnie was an amazing athlete and runner. He was involved in Tri-Fitness, Orangetheory Fitness and a member at CrossFit Apogee in Apollo Beach, FL.  Ronnie is missed dearly by so many. In his memory, we dedicate this race to Ronnie Scrimo, my son, my running buddy and my best friend. Our mission is to bring awareness and resources to all that struggle with alcohol and drug addiction, to provide resources for addicts and their families. We believe that Christ is the all time healer and can help those in need. Come and run with us and help those that struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. #run4ronnie. "About race day. race courses & starting times" Live, in Person Race  "Here's what's included in your race fee: You can expect an "awesome" race shirt, an amazing finisher's medal. Pick anyone of 8 different shirts (from tank tops to hoodies) and 10 different medals Post race breakfast Charlie Chase Dj entertainment with some great tunes for the morning fun. Dave Ragsdale, emcee.    We will have race day packet pick up, but if you are local, please try and pick up your packet at one of the dates and times above to avoid lines on race day. Enjoy a great warm up of Zumba prior to the race starting. Beginning ceremony will promptly begin at 7:25am. PETS & STROLLERS: We love dogs, and they make great training partners, but for their safety and yours, please leave your pet at home on race day. STROLLERS are allowed, but please start at the back of starting line, PLEASE for everyone's safety no scooters, skates etc.

There is an option to donate to Lighthouse Ministries on the race page. Lighthouse holds a special place in my heart because I saw first hand how they dedicate themselves to helping those in need. They help those that are homeless, those that have addictions and so much more.  This is a non for profit organization.
