The Trudge 5K - Wilmington

The Trudge 5K celebrates The Healing Place of New Hanover County, where clients walk daily on their recovery journey. Participants are encouraged to walk or run, reflecting the commitment to healing and sobriety. After the event, enjoy a celebration with free brunch, live music, and community vendors. The Healing Place offers food, shelter, clothing, and recovery services at no cost, supporting people in their journey to sobriety. Since opening, it has helped nearly 1,000 individuals withdraw from substances and has welcomed many into its recovery program. Parking is available, with digital registration options for convenience.
