Gather at John Lopez’s Famous Kokomo Inn Gallery & Sculpture Garden, then roll out down Lemmon’s Main Street. Ride through North Dakota, South Dakota and the Standing Rock Reservation, over remote gravel roads, rugged minimum maintenance roads and prairie two-track trails. Ford the Cedar & Grand Rivers, climb buttes, cross bridges, and skirt the banks of Shadehill Reservoir. Experience Wide-Open spaces that will tempt even the most serious racers to pause. Finish riding down Main Street to the sound of the crowd, cowbells, live music and the view of the finish line. Find a Shady spot in the Kokomo Sculpture garden and relax. Enjoy Saint Larry's oak wood fire smoked barbacoa tacos, made from locally raised bison, and wash it down with a frosty Lost Cabin Beer and live music. Hang out and cheer on other riders as they finish and experience the Thunderhawk Wide Open Festival and art fair featuring local artists.
