Zombie Run For Your Life 5K

What is a Zombie Run? Join us for a unique spin on a Halloween favorite. Family Fun Run for your life Zombie 5K, where zombies chase, scare, jump out at you along your run! Think of it as a Haunted Hayride just.... a race, well more appropriately.... a RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. The race is part of the Month of October "Halloweenathon" going on all Month long at the Town of Hamlin. **We encourage runners to wear costumes!** SHIRT INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION

The Haunted Walk. Join us to walk 1.5 miles through the park on our interpretation of a Haunted Hayride on foot. You will leave from the same location as the 5K Run, and walk throughout the park around the Haunted portion of the course. Great for families or those who want a shorter distance but still enjoy the event. Includes Shirt with registration. **Costumes are strongly encouraged**

What is a Zombie? 
If you sign up as a "Zombie" you are NOT running in the 5K Race. You are an active participant in the "Scaring" theatrical performances as runners make their way around the course. Zombies will attend a Pre-Race meeting at 5:30pm at the Lodge after you check in at regisration, to get detailed instructions on what is expected as a Zombie and to get your location spot along the course.  Zombies can collect leftover Race Shirts if available. **No Zombie is allowed to make contact or come close enough to touch a Runner.**

Runners AND HAUNTED Walkers - $25 Now till August 31, $30 from Sept 1 to Oct 20, $35.00 on Race Day
**18 and Under - $15 Now till August 31, $20 from Sept 1 to Race Day**
Zombies - FREE (Shirt NOT included) 

RUN Course: The course will be approx. 5K consisting of two laps around the Town of Hamlin Park. The first part will be through the Haunted Walk portion, you will zig zag through Halloween themed places, be careful of the Zombies, they are always lurking about... The next part of the course will take you to the FARTHEST part of the Park and back, but just because the course is open and in the field doesn't mean there won't be any Zombies, Witches or.... worse.  

WALK Course: The course will be approx. 1.5 mile consisting of a zig zag walk through the scariest part of the 5K course. You will follow along the course, hopefully there are no Zombies looming about as you make your way through the eerie path. Don't forget to look around the corner before you go, you never know what is lurking behind it. 

What's included: T- Shirt, (Size guaranteed if you sign up by Oct 1) Post race water/snacks, Screams, and entertaining spooky fun.

Awards: (5K ONLY) There will be Age Group awards(U10, 11-15, 16-19, 20- 24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) including the top 1 Male and Female overall finishers. 

Packet Pickup: (5K ONLY) Friday 10/20 at the Town Clerks office 8:30am - 3:30pm AND Saturday 10/21 (Day of race) at the Park Pavillion by the playground 5:00pm - 5:30pm
