Kerrville Sunrise Lions Color Fun

The Steve Hamilton Memorial 5K Trail Run started in 2018 and has helped to raise funds to send hundreds of kids to summer camp at Texas Lions Camp at no cost to their families, which was the heart passion of our friend, Lion Steve Hamilton. The race is throughout the TLC campus, giving you a tour of one of the best places in Texas!

Each and every year Texas Lions Camp host numerous summer camps for children with special needs who under other circumstances would not be able to attend camp. Best of all this camp is free to campers!!  They travel from near and far; some even require airfare (which is all paid for) from donations the camp receives during their year.

You can run or walk the course for the 5K Trail Run at the Texas Lions Camp and see the campus and all the new things added at TLC.
There are paved and unpaved parts to the trail.

Early and regular registered entrants are guaranteed a race t-shirt. GROUP RATES: Save $5.00 off per registration of groups that are 8 or more!Children 5 and under run/walk for free, please enter them as a runner and no charge will be made. Children 6-12 cost $10.00 throughout the entire registration period. Strollers are welcome as this is a family friendly event. No pets are allowed due to liability issues.

Oct 14th Annular Solar Eclipse and other activities at TLC and in Kerrville all day!

There are multiple things to do on the TLC campus right after the race including the 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse viewing party and sports tournaments. Be sure to stick around and join in all the fun.
