And the fun doesn't stop there. With your race bib, you will have free access to museums, allowing you to discover even more of Ravenna's cultural treasures.

Choose from a variety of distances to participate in the marathon, including the 42.195 km competitive race and the 21.097 km half marathon. For those looking for a more relaxed experience, there is the Good Morning Ravenna, a 10.5 km route through the city center that is open to both runners and walkers.

Very nice running event! Ravenna is a cosy small town. If you want to stay in the town several day it's better to book a hotel in advance (not so many offers).

Credit : Ravennawebtv Maratona Japheth Kosgei outpaced more then 1963 runners to win in 02:10:42. Alex Kiprotich Trikoi earned runner-up honours with a time of 02:17:40. Finishing third was Paul Koech Kimutai (02:18:59). In the ladies race, Pascalia Chepkogei took top honours by finishing the race in 02:33:28 . She bested Sarah Giomi who crossed the finish line 6 minutes 42 secondes behind her. Rounding out the top three was Martina Facciani with a time of 02:42:25.
