Maraton Internacional de San Juan

Join us for the thrilling San Juan Marathon, an exceptional event set against a stunning backdrop, offering a unique circuit with perfect running conditions. This 42 km race starts amidst majestic mountains at the Punta Negra Dam, winding around scenic lakes, hills, and vineyards. It journeys through the Quebrada de Zonda, races past the Eduardo Copello racetrack, and stretches along the Ruta del Sol, before reaching the iconic Libertador General San Martin Avenue. This tree-lined section, adorned with a charming boulevard, leads you into the heart of San Juan city. Along the route, runners will encounter some of the province's most significant landmarks, including the Government House, Aldo Cantoni Stadium, Parque de Mayo, Casa Natal de Sarmiento, and the San Juan Cathedral. The journey ends with a triumphant finish at the picturesque Bicentennial Theater, where participants are awarded a medal.In addition to the full marathon, there are also 21km, 10km, and 5km options, making it possible for everyone to partake in the Urban Running Festival. This event attracts both elite runners aiming to set new records and enthusiasts simply wishing to enjoy the sport amid a vibrant atmosphere, drawing participants from nationwide and international locations.
