About the event
The Neches River Festival hosts the Capes and Crowns Run/Walk to support community youth through NRF scholarships. The race features a flat course suitable for both experienced runners and children, with water stations provided along the route. Participants receive custom race medals, and prizes are awarded to the top overall male and female, as well as to the top three in each age group. Registration includes gifts, race shirts, medals, and a celebratory event with food and drink. Proceeds benefit local scholarships, fostering community identity and educational opportunities for students from various backgrounds.
