Run for Freedom - Aiken

The Bridge 2 Home is a non-profit organization in Aiken, SC that provides support for girls who have been victims of sex trafficking. By participating in our annual 5K race, you can help contribute to giving these young girls a safe place to live and heal. Strollers, wheelchairs, and friendly pets are welcome, but please start at the back of the starting line. No bicycles or skates allowed.

Participants in the 5K race can compete in various age categories for men and women, with prizes for 1st place and ribbons for 2nd and 3rd place. Overall winners will receive surprise prizes donated by generous contributors.

For kids 9 and under, there is a free 1-mile fun run to encourage healthy habits from a young age. Registration is required by a specified date to receive a participation prize.

During the event, participants and spectators can enjoy music, games, snacks, and drinks available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit The Bridge 2 Home or sponsoring organizations.

Early registration for the 5K is encouraged to guarantee a t-shirt. Late registration is available as well. Check-in will take place on race day at the designated location.

The race course starts at the Odell Weeks Activity Center in Aiken, SC, and follows a mostly flat route through neighborhood streets. Water stations and race directors will be stationed throughout the course for safety.
