Safety First Pediaquatics Lifeguardians Drowning Awareness 5K Run/Walk

The goal of Safety First PediAquatics Lifeguardians is to eradicate child drownings by funding high-quality swim lessons for the community’s underprivileged children by awarding scholarships to families with children who are in need of financial assistance. Our mission is to create a safe environment for all children to enjoy the water by teaching children early as six months of age. The lessons take place at Safety First PediAquatics. We teach children life-saving swimming skills first and foremost, all while encouraging respect and love for the water. Each child will learn to SWIM FLOAT SWIM. Lessons are conducted in our indoor heated pool with toys for fun, and tools to advance their skills. This creates a learning environment similar to what children will be exposed to when they’re around your everyday swimming pool. We want each child to be exposed to real-life scenarios with nothing out of the ordinary. The 5K Run/Walk will take place on the St. Cloud Lakefront.
