Spring Duathlon Series

Welcome to the 2024 Spring Duathlon Series!   

This "all pavement" duathlon (run/bike/run) is a blast for families, with a race distance for everyone! The race starts at Kincaid Park near the chalet, at the top of the Coastal Trail with a run around the old biathlon loop on paved trails for the kids, adults will be running on a mix of pavement and trails. The transition area is near the start/finish line followed. Kids will bike around the new biathlon range loop, followed by one final run around the old biathlon loop. Adults bike on Raspberry Road out to the "Welcome to Kincaid" sign then take a hard right onto the multi-use trail back to the start/finish line. Adults finish up with a 2nd run on the 1 lap run course. This duathlon is the only on pavement duathlon in Alaska. 

WHO: Kids ages 4 up through Adults

WHERE: Kincaid Park, start is at the top of the Coastal Trail behind the chalet, in Anchorage, Alaska. 

WHEN: May 21st, June 4th, June 18th, 2024. See time table and distances below! 

WHAT: Running & Biking multi-sport race! Any kind of bike is welcome. Kids will have a specific transition area where they can lay their bike down on the ground OR use a kickstand. Adults will have a separate transition area with transition bars for racking your bike (NO NEED TO BRING BIKE STAND!).

SWAG: Sign up by April 1st to ensure you will received a FREE race t-shirt. After April 1st, t-shirts will be limited to the first come, first served with all remaining t-shirt stock. We also will have custom race bibs & Turnagain Training finisher medals for all!
