Hope Mommies West Texas 5k & Fun Run

Hope Mommies is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that supports women and families who have lost a child at any stage of pregnancy and up to two years of age. We are founded on the belief that we will see our children again in Heaven based on our faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us. Chances are you or someone you know has experienced losing a baby. Families need support to lift them up as they walk through this unexplainable grief. Hope Mommies reaches out to moms and their families in a number of ways and has already changed hundreds of lives throughout the nation. The Hope Mommies WTX 5k/fun run is a fundraiser to support the local chapter of Hope Mommies in West Texas serving the major and smaller cities around Midland, Odessa, and Lubbock. Our mission is to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to mothers grieving pregnancy and infant loss locally in West Texas and to let families know they are not alone. Our event will also be a memorial to all the babies and children who have gone to heaven too soon including a hope baby memorial, free keepsakes to take home, and a balloon release. This is a family friendly event with food trucks, bounce houses for the kids, and an opportunity to assemble a hope box for a future family who loses a baby too soon. It is our 4th event of this nature for the West Texas Chapter. Our events in the past have been a huge success and we hope to continue this event into the future. The event will take place in Midland, Texas at Crestview Baptist Church. We have a lot of neat things planned this year that go along with our theme "The light shines in the darkness", therefore, it will be an evening event beginning at 4pm. It will be in person with the option to also participate virtually. 

Pre-Registration will end on October 3rd with the price being $35 for 13 and up and $25 for 12 and under (discount will be automatically applied at check-out)  Walk-up registration will be available on race day for $40 for 13 and up and $30 for 12 and under. T-shirts are guaranteed for all who pre-register and will be available on a first come, first serve basis for those who walk-up on race day.  Packet pickup will be on the race day from 4-5pm. There will be no packet pickup available beforehand.
